Exemption of Minimum attendance for SSLC Exam 2021 announced

In the wake of ongoing COVID 19 pandemic the classes for 10th std have started from 1st January 2021 with students are not been compelled to attend classes regularly and they been given option to opt for online or offline mode,

Now the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination board (KSEEB) for the academic year 2020 – 21 has given exemption of minimum 75% attendance to attend SSLC exams which are schedule to be held in June 2021

And whose notification been announced before the announcement of draft Exam time table so that preparations for the examinations are being done.

Apply for Student Bus Pass within 31st January 2021

The Schools and Colleges in Karnataka have got reopened and KSRTC had given permission for the students to travel Free in buses using ole Bus pass along with Fee Receipt of current academic year till 31st January 2021,

however the North East KSRTC department has announced that the student should apply for Student Bus Pass through Seva Sindhu portal within 31st January 2021, for procedure and to apply online CLICK HERE

Reopening of Classes for 1st to 5th std not yet finalised

Amidst COVID 19 pandemic the classes for 10th and 12th std along with Vidyagama programme for 6th to 9th std started in Karnataka state from 1st January 2021, However the classes for 1st to 5th std have remained closed since March 2020,

In the meanwhile Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said the Karnataka state Government has not yet finalised the dates of reopening of classes for 1st to 5th std,

The classes for 1st to 5th std are taught daily through Kalyutha Naliyona Radio Programme, Speaking to the media persons he said the attendance in Schools is not made mandatory, he said after having discussion with COVID 19 State Advisory committee the decision on reopening of schools for Class 1 to 5 will be taken.

Schools Fees in Private Schools to be cut by 30 to 35%

In the wake of hardship faced by the common people due to ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, the Karnataka State Government has come forward in rescue of Parents whose kids are studying in Private Schools, as per the sources it is likely that the Schools Fees in Private Schools will be cut by 30 to 35% and orders to be released Shortly,

No Summer Vocations for Schools, Colleges likely this year

Notification to register for SSLC Exam 2021 as Private Candidates announced

Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has released the Notification for SSLC June 2021 Examination, the students who have dropped out of school or not had formal education are been given option to get register for SSLC June Exam 2021 as Private Candidates, 12th February 2021 is the last date to register.

NOTE

The candidates above 15 years of Age can get Register as SSLC Private Candidate for Exam to be conducted in June 2021

The candidate should get register in Government High School or Government approved High Schools near their locality by paying Fees of Rs 205 as Registration and Application Charges

The candidate should produce any of the document as age proof : School Transfer Certificate / Birth Certificate Extract /   Affidavit sworn before a Judicial Magistrate / Service Register Extract (If Government Employee)

The candidates registering for first time as private candidates should pay Rs 485 as Exam fees and Rs 22 as Lamination charges, totally need to pay Rs 507 at time of Enroll

The candidates will write the examination in June 2021 for 625 Marks (125 Marks for First Language and 100 Marks for other 5 Subjects)

The candidates have option to choose the Languages and Medium of Instruction,

The candidates will write the Examination on the Syllabus prescribed for the Fresh Regular students who are studying SSLC in the academic year 2020 – 21

Radical changes in Distance Education in near future, says DCM 

Karnataka Higher Education Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Dr C N. Ashwattanarayana said Karnataka State Government has made radical changes in distance education, which will now be offered through the Karnataka State Open University in Mysore,

Speaking from Bangalore on the Virtual Platform for the launch of Physical Classes at the Open University, he said that the demand for online and distance education system is going to increase in the coming days,

KSOU will be further strengthen in this regard and Government will take steps to upgrade the university technically, since the COVID 19 pandemic across the country the system of education has taken drastic changes where technical learning is preferred over traditional learning, recently the classes for Under Graduates and Post Graduates got reopened throughout the state where the students been given option to either attend online or offline classes, however attendance at any of those is mandatory.
