Karnataka CM convenes significant meeting tomorrow to discuss Unlock

In the wake of rise in daily COVID 19 cases, Karnataka State Government has imposed Lockdown throughout the state till 14th June 2021,

As the number of daily COVID 19 cases are getting reduced, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyyurappa has convened a significant meeting tomorrow with District Commissioners (DC) and District In charge Ministers to discuss about the plan to Unlock,

It is being said the 5 stages Unlock process will done, initially the Lockdown will be eased in that districts where the number of daily COVID 19 cases are less than 5%, as per the reports Lockdown may be eased in 7 districts, including Bengaluru in first stage,

A major decision regarding it likely to be announced tomorrow after the meeting.

PM Modi address to the nation started

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the Nation said the COVID 19 the biggest epidemic to hit the nation in the last century,

He added the world has not seen such an epidemic and India has fought at various levels,

The PM Modi said the vaccination coverage in the country expanded from from 60% to 90%, the supply of vaccines will be increased in coming days, 7 different companies in the country are producing different vaccines 3 vaccine trials are at advanced stage,

After 21st June the the Central Government will provide free vaccine doses for all citizens above 18 years and the state governments will not have to spend money on procuring doses,

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will be extended till Diwali, PM added till November 2021 Free food grains will be available in fixed quantity every month for over 800 million citizens stay tuned for regular updates

Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyyurappa has suggested the COVID 19 vaccine be given immediately to the dependents of Doctors, Medical staff and other staff members of the Health and Medical Education department,
