Mental health issues among students have been a concern for policy makers. Taking cognizance of this, the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 highlights the urgent need for ensuring ‘not only cognitive development, but also building character and creating holistic and well-rounded individuals equipped with key 21st century skills’

As a part of the initiative, the Manodarpan Cell undertook the task of conducting the Mental Health and Well-being of School Students—A Survey, 2022 to help understand the perceptions of school students on aspects related to their mental health and well-being

The survey was undertaken with the aim to gain an understanding of the perception of school students on different aspects of mental health and well-being. The survey was conducted through Google form covering students across gender, grades VI–VIII (middle stage) and IX–XII (secondary stage) and schools across the country.

The overall survey findings demonstrate that the students feel responsible for doing well in their life followed by experiencing satisfaction with school life, for more details and download CLICK HERE
