CBSE announce changes in Exam paper pattern for the academic year 2021 – 22

The National Education Policy 2020 has affirmed the need to move from rote to competency-based learning making it more focused on developing the creative and critical thinking capacities of students to meet the challenges of the 21st century proactively,

Therefore, in the forthcoming sessions a greater number of Competency Based Questions or questions that assess application of concepts in real-life, unfamiliar situations will be part of the question paper, for more details CLICK HERE

CHANGES MADE FOR 2021 – 22

CLASS 9 – 10

Competency Based Questions would be minimum 30% (These can be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions, Case- Based Questions, Source Based Integrated Questions or any other types),

Objective Questions will be 20 %, Objective Questions will be 20 %, Remaining 50% Short Answer, Long Answer Questions- (as per existing pattern)

CLASS 11 – 12

Competency Based Questions would be minimum 20% (These can be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions, Case- Based Questions, Source Based Integrated Questions or any other types),

Objective Questions will be 20 %, Objective Questions will be 20 %, Remaining 60% Short Answer, Long Answer Questions- (as per existing pattern).

All Head Masters of High Schools directed to enter correct Bank details of SSLC Evaluators while registering 

Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has directed all the Head Masters of High Schools to enter the correct Bank details of Evaluators while registering for June/July 2021 SSLC evaluation work, as the Evaluation Remuneration and TA will be transferred through NEFT,

AIIMS MBBS Supplementary Exam 2021 postponed

The AIIMS MBBS Supplementary Exam 2021 which was scheduled to be conducted in May 2021 has been postponed by the All India Institute of Medical Science,

The Second MBBS supplementary and Final MBBS supplementary exams have been deferred,

Accordingly, dates of Practical, Clinical, Viva-voce Examination of above scheduled in May 2021 stands deferred and same will be decided by the competent authority at a later stage and will be announced in due course of time, for more details CLICK HERE

KVS Suspends offline classes, allows teachers take online classes

Amid rise in COVID 19 cases across the country, to ensure the safety of teachers, school staff, students, and parents the KVS has allowed the teachers to take online classes from home and not go to school for it,

KVS has asked all the teachers working from home to be available on phone. Principals are allowed to call them whenever required and they should be able to visit them. Also, KVS has directed that teachers not to leave the station without prior permission of the Principal,

However in the  states where the state government allows the conduct of physical classes, the Deputy Commissioner of the region and Principal will have to ensure that appropriate COVID protocols is maintained, All SOP’s released by respective states should be followed, for more details CLICK HERE

Class 1 to 9 students to be promoted on comprehensive Evaluation

In the wake of prevailing situation of COVID 19, Department of Public Instruction, Karnataka has charted out a road map to declare results of the students of class 1 to 9 on the basis of VIDYAGAMA, SAMVEDA E – Classes, NALIYUTA KALIYONA programme, Activities conducted, Project Work, Formative and Summative Tests (If Conducted), and the results be announced by 26th April 2021.
