Decision on JEE Mains & NEET 2021 to be announced soon

According to the sources the Ministry of Education to announce its decision shortly on  conducting the two remaining editions of the Engineering Entrance Examination JEE-Mains and the Medical Entrance test NEET 2021 in August,

The situation of COVID 19 pandemic across the country is being reviewed to take final decision, JEE Mains from this year was announced to conduct 4 times, with 1st and 2nd phase were held successfully and 3rd, 4th phase which were scheduled in April, May 2021 got postponed due to COVID 19 pandemic,

Meanwhile the  JEE-Advanced exam, which is conducted for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology and the National Institutes of Technology was also postponed,

The application process for NEET has not yet been started but Exams are scheduled to be held on 1st August 2021, soon a decision regarding it will be announced, students are informed to keep preparing for Exams.

Guidelines to conduct SSLC Exam (New Pattern) 2021 released

Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has released the guidelines to conduct the SSLC Exam 2021 in New Pattern due to ongoing COVID 19 pandemic,

As per the guidelines released the SSLC Exam will be conducted in Multiple Choice Questions Based in 2 Papers of 120 Marks Each with Each subject consist of 40 MCQ’s,

Exam will be held for 2 days and Duration of Each paper is 3 hours (10.30 to 1.30PM), Paper 1 consists of Core Subjects and Paper 2 – Languages,

The gap between conduct of Paper 1 & 2 will be given for preparation, Exams will be conducted by following safety guidelines in around 6000 Exam centers,

Maximum capacity of students in Exam hall is limited to 12 (1 Student per bench), the students need to answers in OMR sheet, (Separate sheet for each subject will be given), the OMR sheet contains printed details of student appearing for Exam along with recent photograph,

All Students will be declared pass (No Student will be failed) and results will be announced on Grade format

CBSE Board to develop IT system of calculation of marks to declare Class 12 results

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to develop an IT system in house for calculation of CBSE Class 12 Result 2021, this system will support the result committee or schools in the preparation of the result of Class 12 students,

With this new system the preparation of results will be easy, reduce the time and avoid human errors, CBSE will continuously communicate with all the schools to ensure that without any problem result is prepared by the schools and start held desk for Class 10 and 12 from next week,

All the schools are informed to get ready the marks according to 30 : 30 : 40 formula in soft copy, the portal for updating will be opened from 21st June 2021

CBSE to declare class 10 results by July 20

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the Class 10 and 12 results will be declared by 20th July and 31st July 2021 respectively,

CBSE released the Policy for Tabulation of Marks for Class XII Board Exams 2021, for complete procedure of tabulation of marks,

The Examination Controller of CBSE said if students are not satisfied with the results then such students have the option to appear physically in the examination once the COVID 19 situation gets normal

In the wake of ongoing COVID 19 pandemic across the country, the Central Government cancelled Class 12 Exams and the Board was asked by the Supreme Court to submit the Evaluation Criteria to asses the class 12 students,

As today the Board Presented the report, the SC gave prima facie approval of the objective scheme submitted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),

HC asks State Government to stay announcement of 2nd year PU results till Comprehensive decision been made

Due to ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, Karnataka State Government cancelled 2nd year PU Exams and announced the 2nd year PU students results will be announced on the basis of 10th and 1st year PU Marks,

However the repeaters and Private candidates should appear for the Exams that will be conducted once situation gets normal, Meanwhile the 2nd year PU repeaters filed PIL in High court question the Government decision.

The Karnataka High Court while hearing the PIL has asked to stay the 2nd year PU results till the comprehensive decision been made,

Joint Director of the PU Board Krishnappa before the High Court Justice B V Nagarathna, who was hearing the petition filed by the Repeaters students informed that the decision regarding 2nd year PU repeaters would be taken in 15 days, based on the advice of a panel of experts, the next hearing is being postponed for 5th July 2021

SC says okay to CBSE, ICSE Class 12 marking scheme with changes 

In the wake of ongoing COVID 19 pandemic across the country, the Central Government cancelled Class 12 Exams and the Board was asked by the Supreme Court to submit the Evaluation Criteria to asses the class 12 students,

As today the Board Presented the report, the SC gave prima facie approval of the objective scheme submitted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) for awarding marks to Class 12 students without conducting examinations, and asked to incorporate the timeline for result announcement and holding of optional exam, which Board accepted, final orders to be made on Monday.

The scheme submitted by CBSE will assess students based on their performance not just in Class 12 but also in Class 10 and Class 11, the A

ttorney General K K Venugopal said that 30 per cent weightage will be given to best three subjects in Class 10, 30 per cent weightage to Class 11 performance and 40 per cent to Class 12 performance, the results of class 12 to be announced by 31st July 2021.

UPSC Engineering Service Exam Prelims 2021 timetable released 

The timetable for UPSC ESE Prelims 2021 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission,

The UPSC Engineering Services Examination Preliminary 2021 will be conducted on 18th July 2021, the Stage I examination will be conducted in two shifts,

CBSE Class 12 results to be declared by 31st July 

The CBSE 12th Results 2021 evaluation criteria has been submitted today by the Central Board of Secondary Education in Supreme Court,

CBSE Board recommended a 30:30:40 formula with 30 per cent weightage will be given to Class 10 and 11 final results respectively, and 40 per cent to Class 12 pre board exams.

The evaluation criteria comprise that Class 12 results will be based on the performance of students in classes 10, 11 final exams, and in class 12 pre board exams.

Due to ongoing COVID 19 pandemic across the country the Central Government announced this year class 12 Exams not to be conducted,

The SC had asked CBSE to submit the assessment criteria within 2 weeks, a 13-member committee was constituted by the Boards to work on the CBSE Class 12 evaluation criteria, the results of class 12 are expected by 31st July 2021.
