KSET 2021 Exam postponed

Due to ongoing COVID 19 pandemic situation, the Date of KSET 2021 Examination that was re-scheduled for 25th April 2021 is postponed further.

The new date of the examination will be announced later, the students are advised to focus on their preparation for the Exams and not get distracted as this exam is very important to get eligible for lectureship in colleges, for more details CLICK HERE

KSET 2021 Syllabus

KSET 2021

KSET 2021 Examination will be conduced  in 41 subjects at Eleven (11) Nodal Centers spread across the Karnataka state, the allotment of seats for the candidates will be announced prior to the Exams

SCHEME OF EXAM

The KSET 2021 Exam will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). 

PAPER MARKS
Paper 1 100
Paper 2 200

Paper-I: : It consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each Question carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, related  to assess the teaching, research aptitude of the candidate, the questions are designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, general awareness and divergent thinking of the candidate.

Paper – II: It consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each Question carrying 2 marks and the questions will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.

The candidate need to mark the responses for questions of Paper -I and Paper – II on the Optical Marks Reader (OMR) Sheet given along with the test booklet.

KSET SELECTION

GENERAL : The candidate should secure 40% Aggregate marks in all the two papers taken together

SC / ST/ CAT-I / II A/ II B / IIIA / III B / PWD : The candidate should secure 35% Aggregate marks in all the two papers taken together
