Indian Banking Personnel Service (IBPS) came into existence on 1984 as per the directivefrom Reserve Bank of India. In 1975, the action of this self-directed body has been initiated as personnel selection services. To complete the recruitment process for several positions like clerical, PO and SO in nationalized banks, RRBs and State Bank, the IBPS organizes exam every year. To start your career in IBPS banks, the aspirants must clear the preliminary and main common written exam (CWE) and then interview.

IBPS PO 2021 EXAM SYLLABUS

REASONING: Analogy, Odd Man Out, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Blood relations, Direction Sense, Sitting arrangement, Figure Series, Puzzles, etc.

QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE: Ratio and Proportion. Profit and loss, Simple interest, Mensuration, Permutation and combination, Probability, Percentage, etc.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Fill in the blanks, Cloze Test, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms and Antonyms, One Word Substitution, Comprehensions, etc.

GENERAL AWARENESS: International Economy, Indian Economy, Awards & Honors, Sports, Budget, Agriculture, Current Affairs, Finance, Shares, etc.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE: History of computers, MS Office, Operating Systems, Number System, Software & Hardware, etc.

  • Marking scheme: 1 mark awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.

ELIGIBILITY 

Aspirant must be Indian citizen.The candidate is subject to Nepal or Bhutan.

Tibetan refugee who permanently settled in India before 1stJanuary 1962 will also eligible.

Those who are originated in India and migrated from countries like Burma, Vietnam, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malawi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zaire, or Zambia to reside permanently in India will also eligibleto appear on exam.

Candidates must have strong grip over languages like Hindi, English & other local languages.

Aspirant age must be between 20 and 30 as of August 2021. However, age relaxation for those who belong to the reserved category.

Candidate must have completed graduation from recognized university in any of the disciplines with at least 60% marks (General category) and 55% for SC/ST candidates.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR IBPS PO 2021:

Step 1 : Kindly visit the IBPS official website i.e. www.ibps.in

Step 2 : Then click on ‘APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE-PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES’tabfor retrieving the online application form.

Step 3 : Then, register the application by entering basic information which are to be filled in the application form.

Step 4 : Fill details completely and carefully and it is advised to candidates to go through all the instructions before filling the form.

Step 5 : Registration number, as well as a password, will automatically generate and sent to the candidates viaregistered email/SMS to registered mobile number.

STEPS TO DOWNLOADIBPS PO 2021 ADMIT CARD:

Step 1 : Visit official website of IBPS.

Step 2 : Then click on link IBPS PO 2021.

Step 3 : Enter your login credentials to login.

Step 4 : Check all the details in the admit card and take print out.

Please note that candidates must appear to the examination center with documents like admit card, photo ID proof (original as well as a photocopy).

STEPS TO DOWNLOAD IBPS PO SCORECARD:

Step 1 : Kindly visit the official website of IBPS.

Step 2 : Click on ‘CWE VII PO/MT’ tab

Step 3 : Then go to the link ‘IBPS PO 2021 Result’

Step 4 : After this, enter your login credentials, as well as Date of Birth

Step 5 : Finally, Verify and Click on Submit button.

Step 6 : The scorecard will appear on screen which includes details like maximum marks in every section, minimum cut off marks, scores acquired by the candidate.

Step 1 : Download and print the scorecard for further process.

INTERVIEW PROCESS AND PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT:

Those who successfully cleared Mains will be called for an interview commenced by Participating Organizations in coordination with IBPS. The interview is of 100 marks and minimum qualifying marks is 40 for general category and 35 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. During the time of the interview, carry important documents like:

  • Photocopy of Interview Call Letter.
  • Photocopy of the online application form of IBPS PO 2021
  • Proofs like Photo ID, DOB, and Caste/Disability/ or any other Certificate in support of claiming for reservation (if applicable)
  • Qualifying Examination Certificates.
