QUALIFICATION
Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India ,
Candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects] as declared by the State Government or as per constitutional provisions relating to the 8th schedule of Constitution of India.
The candidates for all approved categories of GDS referred to in (i) above will be required to furnish Basic Computer Training Course Certificate of at least 60 days duration from any Computer Training Institute run by Central Government/State Government /Universities / Boards / Private Institutions Organizations.

APPLICATION FEE
Applicants have made a paymentof application fee while submitting the application form online. This application fee is non-refundable and can be paid online through debit card, credit card, and net banking. SELECTION PROCEDURE
Selection of the candidates for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak will be made on the basis of the automatically generated merit list from online application submission. A merit list will be arranged on the basis of candidate’s scores in class 10th. The marks scored by the candidate with highest grade will not be entertained by the selection committee. Therefore standards for selection will be based on only marks secured in 10th standard from approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals.
Those candidates, who have secured their marks in the form of grade as per the process of their board, will have to change the grades into marks.
If 2 candidates get the same marks in class 10th then their selection will be made on the basis of their Date of Birth. The elder candidate will get the preference than the younger one in case of the same score in class 10th.
As per the rules released by the department for Karnataka Gramin DakS evak Recruitment 2021 candidates can apply for a maximum of twenty posts, as per the cycle of online engagement.
