KSOU – B.ED Admissions 2022

The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) has invited applications for admissions to B.Ed course for the year 2021 – 22 

The Duration of the programme shall be of two academic sessions/ years. However, students shall be permitted to complete the programme within a maximum period of five years( as per NCTE guidelines)

B.Ed. in ODL mode, is a professional programme for in-service teachers. It is a second degree in teacher education, primarily intended for upgrading the professional competence of working teachers who have entered the profession without formal secondary teacher training

Exam Date 3rd April 2022

ELIGIBILITY 

In-service teachers of elementary (primary) education who have completed any degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply

INTAKE 

The intake for the B.Ed. Degree Programme at present is 500 (as per NCTE)

MEDIUM 

The medium of instruction is English or Kannada as opted by the candidate

SELECTION 

Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in ‘Common Entrance Test’ and seat matrix of reservation

COMMON ENTRANCE TEST PATTERN

There shall be one paper of 2 hours duration, This paper shall consist of 100 multiple choice objective type questions, with four alternative answer,

The Common Entrance Test will consist of the following two sections – . Reasoning Ability and Teaching Aptitude, Each correct answer will get 1 mark and there is no negative marking,

During the CET candidates shall fill the OMR sheet very carefully. OMR sheet will be provided by the University

TEST DATE AND TIME 

The Common Entrance Test will be held on the 3rd April 2022 from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM.

EXAM PATTERN

The KREIS admissions entrance exam to be conducted in Multiple Choice Format, The question paper consist of 100 Questions for 100 Marks, Each question carry 1 mark, Duration of Exam is 2 hours (120 minutes),

The Question paper will be in English and Kannada Medium, 90% of the Questions in the Exam will be based on 4th and 5th std syllabus, There will be no negative markings, Every question carry equal marks, However if students answer more than one option then no marks will be allotted,

The students should attend the examination in Optical Marks Reader (OMR) Sheets, Students should use only Blue of Black ball point pen to shade the answers in OMR sheet

The Government of Karnataka has started 74 ideal schools in 22 EBB blocks in 22 districts. 74 ideal schools have their own buildings. Of the 74 ideal schools, 72 ideal schools have academic activities in their own building.

The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (now known as Ministry of Education), Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) to the NTA, Notification for the year 2021 announced, The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises of two papers.

The Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions, Universities funded, recognized by participating State Governments, as well as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.

Aspirants may be from India as well as international applicants are eligible to appear for exam.

Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University

A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration

Aspirants who are from abroad need to secure the necessary marks /percentage from board recognized by AIU to become eligible for JEE Main.

There is no any age limit recommended to appear for JEE Main 2021 exam.

You can attend JEE mains as many times as you can as there is no attempt limit.

ADMIT CARD 

The e-Admit Card would be issued provisionally to the candidates through the NTA website, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions and receipt of prescribed application fee by NTA, The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website. The candidate will appear in the examination at the given Centre on the date and shift/timing as indicated in his/her e-Admit Card

ANSWER KEYS

The NTA will display Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the NTA website, with a Public Notice issued to this effect on the said website, to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of Rs. 200/- per question challenged as processing charges. The provisional Answer Keys are likely to be displayed for two to three days

JEE Mains NTA Score

Evaluation of multiple choice questions of B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning will be carried out using final answer keys and the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of JEE (Main) February -2021.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR IELTS 2021

The British Council India conducts IELTS conducts test at 38 locations across the country. Aspirants can register online from the official website of authority.

Step 1 : Visit official website and check for the closet IELTS center and look for test dates to find two choices that is convenience to you.

Step 2 : Take a printout of IELTS 2021 Application Form. Please make sure that you have a valid postal address and used the same name as specified in your passport. Attach two passport size photographs as per the specification.

IELTS 2021 SYLLABUS

The test consists of 4 modules which are Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing.

In Reading modules, there are 3-4 passages of 700 words each, where students have to answer questions about main ideas, details, vocabulary, rhetorical purpose and overall ideas. 

Listening section includes 6 passages of 3-4 minutes in length. In this module, there are passages that include two student conversations and four academic lectures or discussions. Each conversation is heard only once. Each conversation will be associated with five questions, whereas each lecture with six. Questions in this section will be asked to determine the main ideas, important details, speaker purpose and attitude.  

Speaking: – Speaking section includes six tasks: two independent tasks and four independent tasks. In independent tasks, candidate has to answer opinion questions on familiar tasks. Candidates are judged on their ability to speak spontaneously and clearly.

IELTS 2021ADMIT CARD

No admit card will be given to the candidates earlier, rather, intimation about the exam will be sent on the registered email id. The candidates will have to carry their passport (in original and in photocopy) to the test center. The candidates will get their admit card at the exam center itself.

IELTS EXAM RESULTS

Once you finish off your test then you will get your results after 13 days in the form of a test report. You can also get your result through online or you can also get a preview by SMS alert.

The results will be posted to you by test center only. Check with your center if you can collect the results in person.Keep the test report form safe with you because you can’t get any replacements from authorities. ADMIT CARD

Once you successfully complete application process, the NTA will release the admit card of IIFT 2021 on 11th January. Candidates who have successfully filled the application form will only be able to download their IIFT 2021 admit card. A registered Login ID and Password is required to download the admit card of IIFT 2021.

Candidates will have to carry the hard copy of the IIFT 2021 admit card and any one valid photo identity card with them to their respective exam center. AIEED 2021 ADMIT CARD

The Admit Card for appearing in AIEED will be issued 7 days before the exam through either online or center mode.

AIEED Admit Card is a very important document. Candidates must carry the Admit Card to the exam center on the day of exam.

Selection of the candidates will be made strictly on merit basis. All the candidates will be examined based on their collective performance in the parameters considered for the final selection for AIEED. Those parameters are:

AIEED SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship test for AIEED is conducted annually once a year in December and January. This exam is called the AIEED SAT (Scholarship Aptitude Test). Scholarship will be awarded to candidates on the basis of:

  • AIEED Results
  • Performance in 10+2 or equivalent exam for UG courses and Graduation in PG courses.

SPECIAL CASES

Scholarships can be awarded on a special basis for the candidates from:

  • Defense background
  • Artisans background
  • Single Mother-Child or Children of weaker sections of the society

All India Law Entrance Test 2021 (AILET) for admission to Five Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. Programme has been rescheduled by the National Law University, Delhi, As per the official notice released the NLU will conduct the AILET exam 2021 on 20th June 2021 from 10 to 11:30 am instead of 2nd May 2021 which had been announced earlier,

All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted by National Law University(NLU) Delhi to takeeligible candidates for admission into UG, PG and PhD level law courses. This is a university-level entrance exam only for admission in law programs at NLU Delhi. NLU Delhi University doesn’t accept any other law entrance exam for admissions.

ELIGIBILITY 

B.A LL.B (Honors):

  • Qualification: Candidates who qualified 10th and 12th from any recognized board or university will be eligible to appear for AILET exam.
  • Percentage: He/ she must score minimum 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam to become eligible for AILET exam.

LL.M:

  • Qualification: Candidates who qualified graduation degree from any recognized board or university will be eligible to appear for AILET exam.
  • Percentage: He/ she who qualified 55% score if he/she belongs to general category and 50% for reserved categorywill be eligible to appear for AILET exam.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing for LLB final year exam will be also eligible for the AILET exam.

AILET ADMIT CARD 

Exam officials will release the admit card of AILET 2021 tentatively in the 4th week of April. AILET admit card 2021 will be issued to candidates if they have duly filled the application for. To download the admit card of AILET 2021, go to the admit card download portal and log-in using name, application number, course and date of birth. An important document for taking the AILET 2021 entrance examination, the admit card will contain information like the name and roll number, exam date and time, venue details.

AILET RESULT 

After the release of the final answer key, exam officials will release the AILET 2021 result in online mode for all candidates who have appeared in the exam. The university will release the result of AILET 2021 in online mode, which the candidate has to download by entering their log-in credentials. AILET 2021 results will be declared for both the undergraduate and postgraduate law programs. Once AILET result 2021 is released, it cannot be challenged.

AILET COUNSELING

Candidates who are included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the AILET 2021 counseling process. AILET counseling 2021 will be conducted post the declaration of results. AILET 2021 counseling will be conducted in multiple rounds. As part of the AILET 2021 counseling process, the candidates need to participate in document verification process, participate in choice filling and locking. The allotment of seats will be based on their merit rank and choices opted.
