Recruitment notification for NCC Special Entry Scheme 49th course (April 2021) for Short Service Commission (NT) has been released by the Indian Army, Applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel), for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders


Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in 1st, 2nd year


Should have served for minimum three academic years (wef 22 Feb 2013 to onwards till date)/two years (23 May 2008 till 21 Feb 2013) in the senior Division/Wing of NCC, Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC. Applicants, who are not holding NCC ‘C’ Certificate on date of application, are not eligible to apply for the course.

Short Service Commission will be granted to Male and Female in the regular Army for 14 years i.e. for an initial period of 10 years extendable by a further period of 04 years.

Male & Female officers who are willing to continue to serve in the Army after the expiry of period of ten years of Short Service Commission may, if eligible and suitable in all respects, be considered for the grant of Permanent Commission (PC) in the 10th year of their Short Service Commission in accordance with the relevant policies as issued from time to time


An officer will be on probation for a period of 6 months from the date he/she receives his/her commission


Duration of training is 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai., Selected candidates will be detailed for Pre-Commission training at OTA, Chennai according to their position in the final order of merit, up to the number of available vacancies, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

Candidates will neither be allowed to marry during the period of training nor will he/she be allowed to live with parents/Guardians. Candidates must not marry until they complete the full training at the Officers Training Academy.


The entire cost of training at OTA is at Government expense. In case the cadet is withdrawn from training academy due to reasons other than medical ground or the reasons not beyond his/her control, he/she will be liable to refund cost of training at Rs 11,952/- per week till Sep 2020, thereafter a yearly escalation of 8% p.a. will be calculated on the Per Capita Cost of Training for each ensuing year

The test consists of 4 modules which are Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing.

In Reading modules, there are 3-4 passages of 700 words each, where students have to answer questions about main ideas, details, vocabulary, rhetorical purpose and overall ideas. 

Listening section includes 6 passages of 3-4 minutes in length. In this module, there are passages that include two student conversations and four academic lectures or discussions. Each conversation is heard only once. Each conversation will be associated with five questions, whereas each lecture with six. Questions in this section will be asked to determine the main ideas, important details, speaker purpose and attitude.  

Speaking: – Speaking section includes six tasks: two independent tasks and four independent tasks. In independent tasks, candidate has to answer opinion questions on familiar tasks. Candidates are judged on their ability to speak spontaneously and clearly.


No admit card will be given to the candidates earlier, rather, intimation about the exam will be sent on the registered email id. The candidates will have to carry their passport (in original and in photocopy) to the test center. The candidates will get their admit card at the exam center itself.


Once you finish off your test then you will get your results after 13 days in the form of a test report. You can also get your result through online or you can also get a preview by SMS alert.

The results will be posted to you by test center only. Check with your center if you can collect the results in person.Keep the test report form safe with you because you can’t get any replacements from authorities. The test center will send your results to 5 recognizing organizations free of charge, if you need.

Once you successfully complete application process, the NTA will release the admit card of IIFT 2021 on 11th January. Candidates who have successfully filled the application form will only be able to download their IIFT 2021 admit card. A registered Login ID and Password is required to download the admit card of IIFT 2021.

Candidates will have to carry the hard copy of the IIFT 2021 admit card and any one valid photo identity card with them to their respective exam center. IIFT 2021 admit card includes all details related to the exam date, details mentioned on admit card, major guidelines, how to resolve the difficulty while downloading the admit card, browser to be used etc.


Once the exam is conducted, NTA will declare the result of IIFT 2021 through online mode. Definition of order and degree of a differential equation, formation of a differential equation by examples. Probability : Random experiment, outcomes and associated sample space, events, mutually exclusive and exhaustive events, impossible and certain events. Union and Intersection of events. Complementary, elementary and composite events. Definition of probability—classical and statistical—examples. Elementary theorems on probability—simple problems. Conditional probability, Bayes’ theorem—simple problems. Random variable as function on a sample space. Binomial distribution, examples of random experiments giving rise to Binominal distribution.



The question paper in English will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of English and workman like use of words. The syllabus covers various aspects like : Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and cohesion in extended text to test the candidate’s proficiency in English

AILET Exam 2021 rescheduled

All India Law Entrance Test 2021 (AILET) for admission to Five Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. Programme has been rescheduled by the National Law University, Delhi, As per the official notice released the NLU will conduct the AILET exam 2021 on 20th June 2021 from 10 to 11:30 am instead of 2nd May 2021 which had been announced earlier,

  • Qualification: Candidates who qualified 10th and 12th from any recognized board or university will be eligible to appear for AILET exam.
  • Percentage: He/ she must score minimum 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam to become eligible for AILET exam.


  • Qualification: Candidates who qualified graduation degree from any recognized board or university will be eligible to appear for AILET exam.
  • Percentage: He/ she who qualified 55% score if he/she belongs to general category and 50% for reserved categorywill be eligible to appear for AILET exam.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing for LLB final year exam will be also eligible for the AILET exam.


Exam officials will release the admit card of AILET 2021 tentatively in the 4th week of April. AILET admit card 2021 will be issued to candidates if they have duly filled the application for. To download the admit card of AILET 2021, go to the admit card download portal and log-in using name, application number, course and date of birth. An important document for taking the AILET 2021 entrance examination, the admit card will contain information like the name and roll number, exam date and time, venue details.

After the release of the final answer key, exam officials will release the AILET 2021 result in online mode for all candidates who have appeared in the exam. The university will release the result of AILET 2021 in online mode, which the candidate has to download by entering their log-in credentials. AILET 2021 results will be declared for both the undergraduate and postgraduate law programs. Once AILET result 2021 is released, it cannot be challenged.


Candidates who are included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the AILET 2021 counseling process. AILET counseling 2021 will be conducted post the declaration of results. AILET 2021 counseling will be conducted in multiple rounds. As part of the AILET 2021 counseling process, the candidates need to participate in document verification process, participate in choice filling and locking. The allotment of seats will be based on their merit rank and choices opted.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a National Level Entrance Exam conducted to take admission in 22 NLU’s in India. Not only for National Law Universities, CLAT scores are also considered as the gateway for many private and self-financed law colleges in India.

Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is conducted by IIT Bombay. CEED is a national level entrance test organized to take admissions into M. Des & PhD course.

Through CEED exam, candidate’s aptitude in design is gauged and eligible candidates will get admission into the well-known institutions like IIT Kanpur, IIT Hyderabad, IISc Bangalore, IIT Guwahati, IITDM Jabalpur, IIT Bombay, etc. CEED scorecard is valid for only one year time period from the date of announcement of results.

IIT Bombay demands the eligibility criteria to candidates for appearing on CEED exam which includes many parameters that must be fulfilledby candidates to appear in the CEED entrance test. The specified important criteria are as follows.

Students have to complete a 3 years degree/ diploma/ postgraduate degree program (after 10+2 level) OR Candidates who are appearing the final exam of the qualifying by July 2021 can also apply for CEED. OR Students who have passed the diploma programs of GD Arts (10+5 level) by July 2021 are eligible to apply for CEED. No age limit is recommended by the CEED exam authority, Students can appear multiple times for CEED exam.


The syllabus for Part A & Part B of the CEED 2021 exam is different.

The syllabus for CEED 2021 Part A exam consists of topics like environmental and social awareness, language and creativity, visualization and spatial ability, analytical and logical reasoning, observation and design sensitivity as well as design thinking and problem-solving.

The syllabus of CEED 2021 Part B exam consists of topics like problem identification, visual sensitivity, form sensitivity, creativity, and sketching.

The application form for CEED was available on the official website of CEED from September 9 to November 17, 2020. Candidates who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria could register the CEED 2021 application form till 10thNovember.Candidates are advised to keep the required documents and information in hand prior to registration of CEED. The steps to fill up CEED application form 2021 are as follows.

Step 1 : Visit the official website of CEED.

Step 2 : Click on Register.

Step 3 : Enter your personal details in application form.

Step 4 : Enter your academic qualification.

Step 5 : Upload the scanned documents, photograph and signature in prescribed format.

Step 6 : Pay the Application fee.

Step 7 : Download the fully completed CEED Application form.

Step 8 : Take the print out of the application form and keep it safely for future reference.


The admit card will be made available for download on 1stJanuary 2021. To take a copy of admit card students has to enter their login credentials. Students must visit for the exam with the colored printout copy of the admit card at the allotted exam centers.

Students after downloading the hall ticket must cross check all the details present in admit card. In case of any difference in it, students must contact the officials before the exam.


The result of CEED will be declared in the 1stweek of March through online. To check the CEED 2021 result candidates have to enter their login credentials in the login window. Along with the result, students can also download the scorecard of CEED that will be valid for a period of one year from the date of the announcement of the result. CEED result 2021 will include the details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, score or marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
